Dogs don’t bite out of the blue. They give many warning signals. Please take into consideration that these are context specific and you need to continue learning about stress signals, displacement behaviours and behaviours associated with arousal that dogs show us to say they need space, aren’t sure how to respond or are uncomfortable (just like us!) – but this is a start to grasping the concept of what dogs tell us! Dogs need you to listen! We can prevent dog bites, set your dog up to succeed!
